BDACS
BDACS partners with Pinetree Securities to access Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI.

BDACS announced its successful onboarding with Pinetree Securities in Singapore, enabling BDACS to access regulated tokenized investment opportunities through Pinetree Securities. Pinetree Securities, a fully-owned subsidiary of Hanwha Investment & Securities, and a MAS-licensed capital markets services provider, will support BDACS’ participation in a growing range of blockchain-enabled investment products offered through its platform.

Through this onboarding, BDACS can access to Pinetree Securities’ available suite of tokenized investment offerings, including Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI tokenized money market fund, one of the industry’s leading regulated tokenized fund products. This provides BDACS with an additional channel for evaluating and executing tokenized fund investments under a regulated framework.

This announcement also reflects the boarder role of regulated intermediaries enabling compliant participation in on-chain financial services. Where applicable and permitted, stablecoins can be used as an efficient means of investment and settlement, helping improve cross-border transaction speed and operational efficiency compared to conventional settlement processes.

BDACS’ onboarding with Pinetree Securities supports our efforts to explore regulated access to tokenized investment products. We look forward to evaluating products such as Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI and to contributing to discussions around how tokenized funds will develop over time, including in Korea.

BDACS’ onboarding with Pinetree Securities supports our efforts to explore regulated access to tokenized investment products,” said Harry Ryoo, CEO of BDACS. “We look forward to evaluating products such as Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI and to contributing to discussions around how tokenized funds will develop over time, including in Korea.”

Lee Sang Won, CEO of Pinetree Securities, said “We welcome BDACS as a client and are pleased to support its access to regulated tokenized investment products within Singapore’s robust regulatory framework. As a financial institution, we see significant potential for tokenized RWA products and wish to thoughtfully explore how stablecoins can be relevant to regulated financial markets to enhance operational efficiency and transparency—while maintaining the highest standards of governance, risk management, and investor protection.”

By accessing regulated tokenized fund products through Pinetree Securities, BDACS benefits from a fully regulated investment structure that seamlessly connects traditional assets with blockchain-based settlement – providing real-time on-chain transparency, secure and immutable ownership records, and stable, yield-generating exposure backed by a high-quality money market portfolio. Furthermore, enhanced liquidity and 24/7 accessibility offer BDACS a level of flexibility and investment agility not available through conventional financial instruments.

On-chain money market instruments and blockchain-native yield mechanisms offer automated settlement, real-time transparency, and continuous performance reporting, enabling BDACS to deploy capital with greater precision and risk oversight. Through Pinetree Securities’ regulatory framework, BDACS can participate in emerging yield-generating opportunities while maintaining the governance, auditability, and compliance standards required by institutional investors.

This onboarding reflects ongoing market development in the convergence of traditional finance and blockchain technology, and BDACS’ continued interest in regulated channels for tokenized investment products.
