BDACS hosts National Assembly conference

BDACS, a premier digital asset infrastructure provider, is laying out the essential trust infrastructure and custody frameworks required for the impending institutional investor era. Driving the conversation on the corporate digital asset market’s opening, BDACS announced today it is co-hosting the “Academic Conference for Opening the Corporate Market and Establishing a Secure Digital Asset Ecosystem” on July 23 at the National Assembly Members’ Office Building. KORFIN(Korea Fintech Industry Association) and DFCIA(Digital Financial Crime Intelligence & Analytics Institute) join BDACS in organizing the event.

National Assembly Members Kim Hyun-jung and Ahn Do-geol (Democratic Party of Korea) are jointly hosting the conference. The event convenes key policymakers from the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), alongside leaders from traditional finance, academia, the legal sector, and the digital asset industry. Together, these experts will tackle the institutional challenges and build robust strategies for a secure digital asset financial infrastructure.

First keynote by BDACS CEO

BDACS CEO Harry Ryoo leads the first keynote presentation. Speaking on “The Significance of Opening the Corporate Digital Asset Market and the Role of Custody,” Ryoo will outline the regulatory directions and custody models necessary for corporate market expansion.

Next, Kyobo Securities Director Shin Hee-jin will present “Strategies for Building Digital Asset Trust Infrastructure in the Institutional Investor Era.” A comprehensive panel discussion will follow, where FSC, FIU, and Korea Institute of Finance experts, among others, will debate the roadmap for corporate market entry and infrastructure development.

“The acceleration of corporate market entry strictly mandates the use of bank-grade, fully compliant custody platforms.” stated BDACS CEO Harry Ryoo. “BDACS consistently upgrades our trusted digital asset financial infrastructure to empower corporate clients. We are establishing market standards so digital assets secure the same level of safety and trust as traditional finance.”

Final keynote by Kyobo Securities

Kyobo Securities Director Shin Hee-jin added, “To achieve stable growth, a corporate-centric digital asset market demands the same robust trust infrastructure and risk management systems found in traditional finance. Traditional finance and the digital asset industry must cooperate organically to build a safe, sustainable market environment.”

KORFIN Chairman Kim Jong-hyun emphasized the broader impact: “Opening the digital asset market to corporate participation marks a crucial turning point for the domestic fintech industry to leap onto the global stage. As a bridge connecting our member companies’ innovation capabilities with traditional finance, the association will lead the charge in fostering a safe and reliable digital asset ecosystem rooted in strict regulatory compliance.”
